W dniach 16–18 kwietnia 2026 Katowice staną się sercem europejskiego bluesa, goszcząc 14. edycję European Blues Challenge – prestiżowego konkursu skupiającego najlepszych artystów bluesowych z całej Europy, nie bez kozery nazywanego nawet „bluesową Eurowizją”!
Miasto Katowice – współgospodarz wydarzenia – to najważniejsze miasto na bluesowej mapie Polski, miejsce o silnych bluesowych korzeniach i wyjątkowej muzycznej tożsamości. To właśnie tutaj blues od dekad spotyka się z industrialnym charakterem regionu, tworząc niepowtarzalną atmosferę. For decades, blues has met and merged with the region’s industrial character here, creating a truly distinctive atmosphere. Katowice is home to the world’s largest indoor blues festival — the Rawa Blues Festival. The city is also where the world’s only multimedia tourist trail dedicated to historic music and blues clubs — the Silesian Blues Trail — was created.
